Prepare the project
Open the current drawing set, verify scale, and give the project and measured scope clear names before a handoff.

Sign in on a permitted device and use your encrypted Rivet Cloud workspace when you need to move the project between devices.

Check the revision
Review the local and Cloud state before uploading or replacing a workspace. Rivet does not silently overwrite newer Cloud work.

Review and preserve
Confirm the returned estimate, issue the customer document, and keep a portable backup before a device change or major revision.

Use the Windows desktop app in the office, the touch-friendly Android app in the field, or the web workspace in your browser during an active trial or plan. Choose the platform that suits the task.
Create Plan Pro arcs and curved walls on web and Windows. Completed curves are saved as Linear or Wall takeoffs that you can open, review, edit, and sync on mobile. The Android app does not include the dedicated Arc and Curved wall drawing tools.
Before field work, confirm that the project is available, the drawing issue is correct, and the person using the second device knows whether they are reviewing, measuring, or preparing an estimate change.
Rivet tracks encrypted workspace revisions and blocks an older device from silently uploading over newer Cloud work. If newer work exists, download it and review the result before continuing.
Agree who will release drawing updates, record the revision being measured, and review changed quantities before the next bid or field handoff.
Yes. Rivet is available on Windows, Android, and web. Each named member can connect up to two devices to a shared Rivet Cloud workspace during an active trial or subscription.
Can I open a curved takeoff on Android?
Yes. Create arcs and curved walls on web or Windows, then open, review, edit, and sync the resulting Linear or Wall takeoffs on mobile. The Android app does not include the dedicated curve drawing tools.
Can two people edit the same takeoff at the same time?
Rivet Cloud does not support simultaneous live co-authoring. Check the current Cloud revision and agree who will edit the project before handing it over.
How does Rivet protect newer project work?
Rivet refuses to silently upload an older workspace over newer Cloud work. Before replacing a local workspace with a download, it keeps a recovery copy.
Is Cloud required for Rivet Estimator?
No. Rivet saves your work locally. Use optional Rivet Cloud when you want to transfer your encrypted workspace between permitted devices.
No card is needed for the downloaded-app trial. Use a representative PDF plan, verify the scale, measure the scope, review the estimate, and test the handoff that matters to your team.
