Licence and acceptable use
A valid trial or signed licence permits use of Rivet on the number of seats stated by that licence. You may not share private Owner keys, bypass access controls, interfere with the cloud service, upload unlawful material, or use Rivet to harm another person or system.
Your work and responsibilities
You retain responsibility for your project information. Confirm plan scale, measurement geometry, quantities, labour assumptions, taxes, rates, exclusions, contingency, and customer-facing totals before relying on an estimate. Construction documents and prices can change; Rivet does not replace professional judgment.
Backups and availability
Rivet provides local autosave, recovery copies, portable backups, and optional encrypted cloud revisions. Maintain your own current backup before device replacement, destructive changes, or final bid issue. Online services may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, network failure, or events outside reasonable control.
Payments and subscriptions
Website subscriptions renew monthly through Stripe at the exact plan price shown before confirmation. Stripe securely handles eligible credit and debit cards, Google Pay, Link, Canadian pre-authorized debit, and other supported regional methods; Apple Pay is not offered. Payment methods, receipts, invoices, and cancellation are managed in Stripe's secure customer portal. A subscription covers its stated installed-app user and device allowance, so the same customer does not need a separate subscription for each permitted device. Hosted web sign-in currently belongs to the verified purchaser email; additional web-member invitations are not yet available. Cancellation normally preserves access until the paid period ends. In the Google Play edition, subscriptions are purchased and managed through Google Play under the price, currency, tax, renewal, and refund terms shown by Google.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Rivet is provided without a guarantee that every estimate, drawing interpretation, price, or business outcome will be error-free. Liability is limited to the amount paid for Rivet during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
