Licence and acceptable use
A valid trial or signed licence permits use of Rivet on the number of seats stated by that licence. You may not share private Owner keys, bypass access controls, interfere with the cloud service, upload unlawful material, or use Rivet to harm another person or system.
Your work and responsibilities
You retain responsibility for your project information. Confirm plan scale, measurement geometry, quantities, labour assumptions, taxes, rates, exclusions, contingency, and customer-facing totals before relying on an estimate. Construction documents and prices can change; Rivet does not replace professional judgment.
Invited workspace content and conduct
Team and Enterprise members may share project content only within invited workspaces. Do not share unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, unsafe, or privacy-violating content, or use a workspace to harass another person. Members can report shared content or another member from the Team section of Account Centre. Rivet may review reports, request supporting details, remove or restrict content, revoke workspace access, or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law.
Backups and availability
Rivet provides local autosave, recovery copies, portable backups, and optional encrypted cloud revisions. Maintain your own current backup before device replacement, destructive changes, or final bid issue. Online services may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, network failure, or events outside reasonable control.
Payments and subscriptions
Website subscriptions renew monthly or annually through Stripe according to the billing interval and exact CAD plan price shown before confirmation. Applicable sales taxes may be added depending on the customer's location; any tax charged and the total are shown in Stripe Checkout before payment is confirmed. Annual billing is charged once per year and currently includes two months free compared with twelve monthly payments. Stripe securely handles eligible payment methods; Apple Pay is not offered. Payment methods, receipts, invoices, and cancellation are managed in Stripe's secure customer portal. Each named member may connect up to two Cloud devices to the same shared workspace: 2 devices for Solo, 10 for Team, and 50 for Enterprise. Device capacity does not permit account sharing. Team and Enterprise owners or administrators may invite members by email; each member uses their own account and assigned role, and pending invitations reserve a member seat. Cancellation normally preserves access until the paid period ends. Website refunds and billing corrections follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Google Play subscriptions follow the price, renewal, tax, and refund terms shown by Google.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Rivet is provided without a guarantee that every estimate, drawing interpretation, price, or business outcome will be error-free. Liability is limited to the amount paid for Rivet during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
