Local-first workspace
Projects autosave locally. You decide when to connect and sync an encrypted revision.
Sync encrypted takeoffs and estimates between your authorized Windows, Android, and web devices. Rivet checks revisions before upload to protect newer work.
If another device has uploaded newer work, download and review that revision before uploading your changes. The workspace header shows whether sync is running and what is still waiting to upload.
Agree on who is updating the estimate and which drawing revision the team should use.
Check the plan set, scale, project name, and measured scope, then save a portable backup.
Use your authorized device to upload the workspace revision your team needs.
On the receiving device, confirm the project, approved drawing revision, and intended task.
Check updated quantities and costs before approving the next estimate revision.
Rivet saves work locally and lets you choose when to connect a workspace to Cloud. Sync helps you move between devices; review each update before continuing work.

Workspace keys are stored in KMS-wrapped form. Authorized Cloud processes may unwrap a key transiently to validate synchronized records and issue encrypted access to permitted devices.
The workspace header shows your connection, automatic-sync setting, paused or read-only access, and encrypted changes waiting to upload.
Keep a portable copy before replacing a device, making major revisions, or issuing a final estimate.
No. Rivet Estimator saves work locally. Cloud is optional and lets you sync an encrypted workspace between your authorized devices.
Check the workspace header for Auto on, Auto off, Sync paused, or Read-only. It also shows how many changes are waiting to upload, so you can check before closing Rivet.
Project content is encrypted on the device before upload, sent over HTTPS, and stored encrypted. Rivet holds each workspace key in KMS-wrapped form and may unwrap it transiently in the authorized Cloud service to validate synchronized records and create encrypted access envelopes for permitted devices. Rivet Cloud is not a zero-knowledge service, and customer-support tools do not display project content or plaintext workspace keys.
Every named member can connect up to two devices. The total device allowance for a workspace depends on the plan and the number of members it includes.
Rivet checks workspace revisions and prevents a device from silently uploading older work over a newer Cloud revision. Download and review the current revision before continuing.
No. Keep portable backups so you have a separate recovery copy before replacing a device, replacing local work with a Cloud download, or issuing a major revision.
